Metro Health adds 7 GI surgeons & more: 5 GI practices in the news

Here are five practices with gastroenterology services making news this past week.

Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis tapped Matthew Ciobra, MD, to be its next inflammatory bowel disease program chief.

New York City-based Manhattan Gastroenterology’s Shawn Khodadadian, MD, issued a PSA about the dangers of ignoring rectal bleeding.

Louisville, Ky.-based BHMG Gastroenterology added Victor A. Howard, MD, to its staff.

Grand Rapids, Mich.-based Metro Health added seven gastroenterologists to its staff.

United Healthcare honored Beverly, Ill.-based Metropolitan Gastroenterology Consultants Founder Darrien Gaston, MD, by designating him a Premium Care Physician for 2017.
