Memorial Hermann Northeast Hospital Names Dr. Howard Hamat Chief of Staff

Howard Hamat, MD, board certified gastroenterologist and internist, has been named the chief of staff at Memorial Hermann Northeast Hospital in Houston, according to an Ultimate Lake Houston report.

Dr. Hamat began his association with Memorial Hermann Northeast Hospital in 1997 and as chief of staff he will stand as a liaison between the hospital staff and administration. He also currently practices with Digestive & Liver Disease Consultants in Houston.

Dr. Hamat completed his medical degree and his residency at the University of Toronto School of Medicine in Canada.
