Medtronic’s GI sales grow in Q3 of fiscal year 2023

Medtronic saw an increase in its gastrointestinal products during the third quarter of fiscl year 2023, according to financial results posted Feb. 21.

Gastrointestinal revenue grew in the high-single digits, largely from sales of GI Genius. The segment GI falls under — respiratory, gastrointestinal and renal — overall saw an 8 percent decrease year-over-year with $712 million in revenue.

Medtronic reported total revenue of $7.7 billion, a 4.1 percent increase year-over-year on an organic basis.
