The funds will be used for pursuing commercial launches in Europe and preparing for U.S. Food and Drug Administration clearance and commercialization in the United States and other global markets. Existing Medrobotics shareholders participated in the financing.
Medrobotics is a privately-held company that manufactures and markets the Flex System, a computer-assisted flexible endoscopic platform, which has received the CE Mark but is not currently cleared for sale in the U.S.
