Medigus Appoints Christopher Rowland to CEO

Medigus’ board of directors has named Christopher Rowland as the endoscopy technology company’s chief executive officer, according to a Globes report.

Mr. Rowland has been a member of the board since March. He will replace the company’s founder and current CEO Elazar Sonnenschein, MD, upon shareholder approval.

Mr. Rowland served for 17 years as a manager for Boston Scientific and has 24 years of experience in the life sciences market.

Medigus develops minimally invasive endoscopic techniques for gastroesophageal reflux disease treatment.
