Augusta-based Medical College of Georgia named Kenneth Vega, MD, its new chief of gastroenterology.

Raleigh (N.C.) General Hospital reopened its improved $3 million Raleigh Medical Complex bringing a new surgical team onboard. The center specializes in gastroenterology, among others.

Oak Hill, W. Va.-based Plateau Medical Center broke ground on its first expansion in 40 years April 26. The center will specialize in gastroenterology, among other services.
