Florence, S.C.-based McLeod Digestive Health Center physicians began performing endoscopic full thickness resections to remove large polyps and early tumors in the colon.

1. Veeral Oza, MD, and Davinderbir Pannu, MD, performed the EFTR procedure using a full-thickness resection device. The device allows the procedure to be done in the outpatient setting.
