Mayo Clinic to be the first to offer Cologuard

Cologuard, a DNA-based colorectal cancer test, recently earned FDA approval. Now, Mayo Clinic will become the first healthcare provider to offer the new test, according to a Post Bulletin report.

The Exact Sciences test was developed using Mayo Clinic research. Mayo gastroenterologist David Ahlquist, MD, is the co-inventor of the device.
