Maryland gastroenterology practice closes after 30 years

Hagerstown, Md.-based Gastroenterology Associates closed Jan. 21 after more than 30 years of practice, according to a notice posted on the practice’s Facebook page.

The notice cited “unforeseen circumstances” as the reason for the closure.

Patient medical records have been transferred to Meritus Medical Center, the post stated.
