La Peer Health Systems, a Beverly Hills, Calif.-based outpatient surgery center, has lead a fundraising campaign for the Esophageal Cancer Action Network and raised $822.

ECAN is a nonprofit organization focused on raising awareness of esophageal cancer and raising funds for related research.

Gastroenterologists Mark Davidson, MD, and Peyton Berookim, MD, serve as medical directors of La Peer Health System’s Barrett’s Esophagus Center of Excellence.
