La Peer Health Systems Launches Barrett’s Esophagus Center of Excellence

La Peer Health Systems, an outpatient surgery center in Beverly Hill, Calif., has announced the launch of its Barrett’s Esophagus Center of Excellence in Los Angeles.

Board-certified gastroenterologists Peyton Berookim, MD, and Mark Davidson, MD, serve as the center’s directors. Maurice Elihu, MD, Leo Treyzon, MD, Farshid Sam Rahbar, MD, Siamak Tabib, MD, Payman Khorrami, MD, and Shahab Mehdizadeh, MD, also practice at the center.

The center of excellence will focus on providing diagnostic and treatment services for Barrett’s esophagus, GERD and esophageal cancer.
