Kansas hospital expands GI services with new providers

Salina (Kan.) Regional Health Center is expanding its gastroenterology services with the addition of two physicians and a physician assistant, effective Aug. 1.

Paul Johnson, MD, Jesica Brown, MD,  Luke Johnson, MD, and Kaylee Wiens, PA-C, will lead gastroenterology services at Salina Regional Gastroenterology, diagnosing and treating a range of gastrointestinal conditions, according to a July 20 report from KSAL.com

The team will collaborate with general surgeons and oncologists at the hospital to provide comprehensive surgical and oncological care.

In addition to treating patients in Salina, the gastroenterology team will offer outreach services in Ellsworth and Plainville to improve access across Kansas.
