2. Cara Care created the app for irritable bowel syndrome, inflammatory bowel disease and gastroesophageal reflux disease patients. It incorporates medication management and dietary and mental health interventions to improve gastrointestinal health.
3. The app has helped more than 400,000 patients in the U.S. and Germany to date.
4. Cara Care plans to use the funding to further research.
