Jersey Medical Center approves GI fellowship

Jersey City (N.J.) Medical Center, a RWJBarnabas Health facility, launched a gastroenterology fellowship through a partnership with Rutgers Health, according to the Hudson Reporter.

Two fellowship positions will be added to Rutgers New Jersey Medical School's GI program. Fellows will rotate through Jersey City Medical Center.

The fellowship stems from a partnership formed in 2018 between West Orange, N.J.-based RWJBarnabas Health and New Brunswick, N.J.-based Rutgers University. The partnership aims to enhance research and education, improve care access and reduce health disparities in New Jersey.
