International Surgery Journal Appoints Dr. Rajiv Datta to Editorial Board

International Surgery, the official journal of the International College of Surgeons, has appointed Rajiv Datta, MD, surgical oncologist, to its editorial board, according to a NewsLI.com report.

Dr. Datta has expertise in colorectal cancer surgery, esophageal surgery, upper gastrointestinal surgery and radio frequency ablation for liver tumors, as well as soft tissue sarcoma and melanoma and cancer of the head, neck and breast.

He currently serves as the department chair of surgery and medical director of the Gertrude & Luis Feil Cancer Center at South Nassau Communities Hospital in Valley Steam, N.Y.
