Horizon BlueCross BlueShield of New Jersey Launches Program to Improve Colonoscopy

Horizon BlueCross BlueShield of New Jersey has launched a new program designed to improve colonoscopy patient outcomes, patient experience and lower costs through coordination of care, according to an NJBIZ report.

Horizon BCBS partnered with 31 of its network physicians in more than 20 locations. The physicians will coordinate with outpatient sites of service, anesthesiologists and all colonoscopy-related caregivers to work towards improvement.
