HealthPartners receives CMS' Health Equity Award — 3 insights

Bloomington, Minn.-based HealthPartners was one of two organizations to receive CMS' Health Equity Award.

What you should know:

1. The award recognizes HealthPartners efforts to both increase access to care and reduce health disparities.

2. HealthPartners increased access to care by offering eligible patients fecal immunochemical testing kits, increasing colorectal cancer testing numbers.

3. HealthPartners President and CEO Andrea Walsh said, "It's a great honor to be recognized for our deep commitment to health equity, and the progress we've made to improve health and access to care for everyone."
