Frankfort (Ky.) Regional Medical Center, an affiliate of HCA Healthcare, has opened a gastroenterology practice.
Capital Gastroenterology, located in Frankfort, Ky., provides digestive health services, including colonoscopies and other preventive screenings, according to an Aug. 7 news release from Frankfort Regional Medical Center.
The clinic is led by Matthew Miller, MD, a gastroenterologist with more than three decades of experience.
“Colon cancer can be detected early through routine screening, making it easier to treat,” said Dr. Miller said in the release. “Many people don’t experience symptoms in the early stages of colon cancer, which is why screening is so important.”
