1. The practice investigated suspicious system activity on March 17, determining that an unauthorized individual potentially accessed the practice’s patient information.

2. The practice has no evidence that cyber criminals accessed or obtained any information, but Healthcare IT News reports the breach affected 93,323 patients, according to HHS’s Office for Civil Rights’ figures.

3. The potential information contained names, demographic information, Social Security numbers, health insurance numbers, diagnostic information and clinical information.

4. In a statement, the practice said it is enhancing existing security measures.
