Harrisburg (Pa.) Gastroenterology will begin providing outpatient and inpatient GI care for two Penn State Health facilities beginning June 2.
Harrisburg Gastroenterology has been serving patients in the area for over 40 years, and will now provide clinical and surgical care at Penn State Health’s Hampden and Holy Spirit medical centers, according to an April 16 news release.
Ten Harrisburg GI physicians, physician assistants and nurse practitioners will provide care for the Penn State facilities, including routine care, advanced therapeutic endoscopy services, techniques to aid in the diagnosis, staging and treatment of gastrointestinal cancers. They will also address benign intestinal, biliary, pancreatic and liver diseases.
