1. Dr. Bass earned his medical degree from Grenada, West Indies-based St. George’s University School of Medicine. He completed a residency at Washington, D.C.-based Georgetown University Hospital and a fellowship at New York City-based SUNY Downstate Medical Center.

2. He co-authored a paper published in the Southern Medical Journal.

3. Dr. Bass previously worked at Elkton, Md.-based Union Hospital of Cecil County.
