GI physician to know: Dr. Rudolph Bedford of Southern California Gastroenterology Group

Rudolph Bedford, MD, practices with Southern California Gastroenterology Group in Santa Monica and is the director of pancreatico-biliary services at University of California Los Angeles. He also serves as president of Southern California Society of Gastroenterology.

Dr. Bedford focuses on pancreatic bilary disease, interventional endoscopy, diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic retrograde cholangiopangcreatography and endoscopic ultrasound. He has authored numerous abstracts and peer reviews. Additionally, he is a gastroenterology consultant for the Los Angeles Zoo.

Dr. Bedford earned his medical degree at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine in Cleveland. He completed his internal medicine residency at the New York Hospital-Cornell Medical Center and Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. He has also completed a gastroenterology fellowship program at the Cleveland Clinic.
