Dr. Deas has served as an advisory board member for the GI Quality Improvement Consortium and as president of North Texas Specialty Physicians from 2003 until 2007. He has also served with the United States Air Force for 20 years. He is a speaker at national meetings and has published articles on achieving efficiency in gastroenterology practices and endoscopy centers.
Dr. Deas earned his medical degree at Louisiana State University School of Medicine in Shreveport. He completed an internal medicine residency as well as a gastroenterology fellowship at Wilford Hall USAF Medical Center in San Antonio.
