GI physician leader to know: Dr. Ronald Vender of Yale School of Medicine

Ronald Vender, MD, FACG, is a professor of medicine and the associate dean for clinical affairs at Yale School of Medicine as well as CMO of Yale Medical Group in New Haven, Conn.

He chaired the National Affairs Committee of the American College of Gastroenterology and is a past president. He is board-certified in gastroenterology and internal medicine.

Dr. Vender completed his medical degree at Yale University. He then completed his internal medicine residency at Yale-New Haven Hospital and his gastroenterology fellowship at Yale University School of Medicine.
