GI physician leader to know: Dr. Michael Koehler of University Gastroenterology Associates

Michael K. Koehler, MD, practices with University Gastroenterology Associates and provides care at University Hospitals, both based in Cleveland. He is also an assistant clinical professor, medicine at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine in Cleveland and performs cases at Chagrin Falls, Ohio-based The Endoscopy Center at Bainbridge.

Dr. Koehler is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine-Gastroenterology. He focuses on general gastroenterology. He has admitting privileges at UH Case Medical Center and UH Bedford Medical Center, UH Ahuja Medical Center, UH Richmond Medical Center and UH Geauga Medical Center.

Dr. Koehler earned his medical degree at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. He completed his internal medicine residency, gastroenterology fellowship and a pathology fellowship at University Hospitals of Cleveland.
