Dr. Bhinder also practices at Gastrointestinal Endoscopy Associates in Rockville and Urbana GI Endoscopy Center in Ijamsville, Md. His hospital affiliations include Frederick (Md.) Memorial Hospital and Shady Grove Adventist Hospital in Rockville.
Dr. Bhinder focuses on acid reflux and Barrett’s esophagus, advanced interventional therapeutic endoscopy as well as diseases of the biliary and pancreatic systems. He is trained in advanced therapeutic procedures such as endoscopic ultrasound and ERCP for biliary and pancreatic disease and is proficient in use of wireless capsule endoscopy.
Dr. Bhinder earned his medical degree at King Edward Medical College in Lahore, Pakistan. He completed his residency at St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center/Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston. Additionally, he has completed a gastroenterology and hepatology at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock as well as an advanced interventional therapeutic endoscopy fellowship at University of Florida Shands Hospital in Gainesville.
