Chicago-based GI Partners of Illinois has announced a partnership with Acucare, an AI-driven technology platform that transforms EHR data to actionable insights, according to an April 22 news release from the organization.
With this new partnership, GI Partners of Illinois becomes the only independent gastroenterology group in the state using Acucare’s platform. The AI technology helps physicians quickly understand patient information, cuts down on paperwork and improves workflow, according to the release.
The deal was facilitated between Chandan Kaur, CEO of Acucare, and Dr. Geogy Vennikandam, COO of GI Partners of Illinois.
“As the only independent GI group in Illinois to have access to this platform, we are reinforcing our commitment to remaining at the forefront of innovation, efficiency and physician-led care,” Dr. Vennikandam said in the release. “This technology will allow us to scale intelligently, improve clinical performance, and continue putting our patients and providers first.”
