Dr. Bell practiced in Southeastern Virginia for more than two decades. He is a past secretary-treasurer for the American Gastroenterological Association and the current Patient Engagement Advisor.
He earned his medical degree from the Richmond-based Medical College of Virginia. He completed a residency at Philadelphia-based Thomas Jefferson University Hospital and a fellowship at Rochester, Minn.-based Mayo Clinic.
Dr. Bell is a professor of gastroenterology at Norfolk, Va.-based Eastern Virginia Medical School.
Outside of his practice, Dr. Bell enjoys the beach, music, reading, travel and golf.
