GI leader to know: Dr. Vivek Kaul of the University of Rochester Medical Center

Vivek Kaul, MD, is the gastroenterology division chief at the University of Rochester (N.Y.) Medical Center.

Dr. Kaul is also the University of Rochester Medical Center’s Segal-Watson Professor of Medicine

His research and clinical interests include therapeutic endoscopy and interventional endoscopic ultrasound.

Dr. Kaul sits on several committees of the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy and the American College of Gastroenterology, and he is a reviewer for several journals.

He is a co-director of the ACG’s hands-on endoscopy workshops.
