GI leader to know: Dr. Traci Jester of Children’s Hospital of Alabama

Traci W. Jester, MD, is a pediatric gastroenterologist and the co-director of the Inflammatory Bowel Disease Clinic at the Birmingham-based Children’s Hospital of Alabama.

She is the co-chair of the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation Pediatric Affairs Committee.

Dr. Jester is an assistant professor at the University of Alabama at Birmingham.

She was named an “Improve Care New Physician Leader” by the North American Society for Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition.

Dr. Jester’s interests include quality improvement and treating inflammatory bowel disease.
