GI leader to know: Dr. Thomas Ullman of Montefiore Medical Center

Thomas Ullman, MD, is the chief of gastroenterology at the New York City-based Montefiore Medical Center.

Dr. Thomas Ullman joined Montefiore Health System as chief, division of Gastroenterology, Montefiore Health System in winter 2018.

Promoting GI health and reducing colon cancer in the communities served by Montefiore, Dr. Ullman is building upon the division’s endoscopic services and patient-centered care, as well as collaborating with colleagues to build upon clinical operations, patient engagement, scholarly activity and fellowship, graduate and undergraduate medical education.

Working with faculty members, Dr. Ullman also plans to develop a state of the art clinical and research IBD Center at Montefiore/Einstein.
