Dr. Kais specializes in treating inflammatory bowel disease.
She earned her medical degree from Detroit-based Wayne State University. She completed a residency at University of Illinois at Chicago and a fellowship at La Jolla, Calif.-based Scripps Green Clinic & Hospital.
Dr. Kais completed a second fellowship specializing in inflammatory bowel disease at The University of Miami’s The Crohn’s & Colitis Center.
She is affiliated with Grand Rapids-based Mercy Health Saint Mary’s.
