Dr. Desautels earned his medical degree from Gainesville-based University of Florida. He completed a residency at Salt Lake City-based University of Utah and a fellowship at Pittsburgh-based UPMC.
He is a member of the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, American College of Gastroenterology and American College of Physicians.
Dr. Desautels is a diplomate of the American Board of Gastroenterology.
