He is an expert in advanced endoscopic procedures and endoscopic oncology, and has published research on the early diagnosis of esophageal and pancreatic cancer.
Dr. Vignesh is the director of SUNY Downstate Medical Center’s gastroenterology fellowship program, where he develops GI curriculums for fellows, residents and students.
He is an ad-hoc reviewer for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, American Journal of Gastroenterology, and PLos One.
