Dr. Somers is board certified in gastroenterology and internal medicine.
His career began after he earned his medical degree from Boston’s Harvard Medical School. He completed his internship and residency at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston. He completed a fellowship at Boston’s Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center.
Dr. Somer is a member of several professional societies including the American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy and the American Gastroenterological Association.
Outside of his professional career, Dr. Somers lives in Hopkinton, N.H., with his wife and three daughters. He is an avid hiker, skier and runner.
