Dr. Ambasht received his medical degree at Bethesda, Md.-based Uniformed Services University of Health Sciences.
He completed his internal medicine residency and gastroenterology fellowship at San Antonio-based Wilford Hall Air Force Medical Center and Brooke Army Medical Center.
Dr. Ambasht is a member of the Medical Executive Committee at Anchorage-based Alaska Regional Hospital.
He is board-certified in gastroenterology.
