GI leader to know: Dr. Ross Meidinger of Sanford Health

Ross Meidinger, MD, is a gastroenterologist at Fargo, N.D.-based Center for Digestive Health. Sanford Health is the center’s parent company.

Dr. Meidinger specializes in performing endoscopic ultrasounds. He treats Crohn’s disease, ulcerative colitis, celiac disease and Barrett’s esophagus.

He earned his medical degree from Grand Forks-based University of North Dakota. He completed a residency and fellowship at Iowa City-based University of Iowa.

Dr. Meidinger is a member of the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, American College of Gastroenterology and American Gastroenterological Association.

Outside of his practice, he enjoys traveling, watching movies and spending time with his three children.
