GI leader to know: Dr. Philip Styne of Florida Hospital

Philip N. Styne, MD, is a gastroenterologist at Orlando-based Florida Hospital.

Dr. Styne is the medical director of digestive health at Florida Hospital. He is also a member of the clinical faculty at Gainesville-based University of Florida.

Dr. Styne was honored as Volunteer of the Year in 2017 by Orlando, Fla.-based based Shepherd’s Hope, a charitable clinic providing access to medical care for those in need.

In 2016, Dr. Styne established a clinic with Shepherd’s Hope dedicated to the treatment of liver diseases, including Hepatitis C.
