Dr. Nagel began his career after earning his degree from Philadelphia-based University of Pennsylvania. He completed his residency and internship at Minneapolis-based University of Minnesota. Dr. Nagel served the U.S. Army for two years before completing his fellowship at Chicago-based University of Illinois.
He is an American College of Physicians and American College of Gastroenterology fellow.
Outside of his practice, Dr. Nagel is a violinist and a piano player. He enjoys long distance running.
