After earning his medical degree from Philadelphia-based University of Pennsylvania, he completed a residency at Minneapolis-based University of Minnesota and a fellowship at Chicago-based University of Illinois.
Dr. Nagel is an American College of Physicians and American College of Gastroenterology fellow.
He also serves on the faculty of Chicago-based University of Illinois Medical Center.
Outside of his practice, Dr. Nagel is a violinist and pianist. He also enjoys long distance running.
