GI leader to know: Dr. Peter Malet of NYU Winthrop Hospital

Peter F. Malet, MD, is director of the center for liver diseases at NYU Winthrop Hospital in Mineola, N.Y..

Dr. Malet treats patients with liver disease and has researched liver disease for more than 30 years. Before joining NYU Winthrop, he was an assistant and associate professor of medicine at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center.

Dr. Malet is a fellow of the American Gastroenterological Association and the American College of Physicians.
