GI leader to know: Dr. Paul Yeaton of Carilion Clinic

Paul Yeaton, MD, is a gastroenterologist and the section chief of gastroenterology at Roanoke, Va.-based Carilion Clinic.

Dr. Yeaton is also a professor of internal medicine and radiology at Roanoke-based Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine.

He earned his medical degree from and completed his residency at Morganstown-based West Virginia University, before completing a fellowship at Charlottesville-based University of Virginia. He completed a second fellowship at Brussels, Belgium-based Free University of Brussels.

Dr. Yeaton is a fellow of the American College of Gastroenterology, American Gastroenterological Association and American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, among others.
