GI leader to know: Dr. Mary Atia of Arizona Digestive Health

Mary A. Atia, MD, is a gastroenterologist at Glendale-based Arizona Digestive Health.

She specializes in hepatology and liver disease, as well as colon cancer prevention.

Dr. Atia received her medical degree from the Los Angeles-based Keck School of Medicine at University of Southern California.

She completed her residency at the Los Angeles-based Cedars Sinai Medical Center and West Los Angeles (Calif.) Veterans Administration.

Dr. Atia completed a gastroenterology fellowship at the Phoenix-based Mayo Clinic Arizona.

She is board certified in internal medicine and gastroenterology.
