GI leader to know: Dr. Marla Dubinsky of Mount Sinai Hospital

Marla C. Dubinsky, MD, is a gastroenterologist at New York City-based Mount Sinai Hospital.

Dr. Dubinsky earned her medical degree from Queen’s University in Canada.

She completed her pediatric residency at Alberta Children’s Hospital in Calgary, Canada. Additionally, she completed a clinical fellowship in gastroenterology and nutrition at Sainte-Justine Hospital at the University of Montreal, Canada.

Dr. Dubinsky completed research fellowship in IBD at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles where she also served as the director of the pediatric inflammatory bowel disease center.

She serves as the chief of the division of pediatric gastroenterology at the New York City-based Mount Sinai Kravis Children’s Hospital.

Dr. Dubinsky’s interests include the impact of IBD on fertility and pregnancy, and the treatment prognosis and responses of early onset IBD.
