GI leader to know: Dr. Madhavi Reddy of Brooklyn Hospital Center

Madhavi Reddy, MD, of New York City-based Brooklyn Hospital Center, trains gastroenterology fellows and participates in colon cancer outreach programs in her roles as chief of the center’s gastroenterology and hepatology division and director of the division’s fellowship program.

Dr. Reddy also is the center’s director of endoscopy and director of the hepatology ambulatory care center.

She is a fellow of the American College of Gastroenterology and an American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy and American Gastroenterological Association member. Her clinical interests include treating liver disease and promoting colon cancer awareness.

Dr. Reddy completed her gastroenterology fellowship at Brooklyn Hospital Center, and joined its gastroenterology and hepatology division in 2003.
