Dr. Leite specializes in esophageal disease and refractor acid-peptic disorders.
He began his career after earning his medical degree from Biddeford-based University of New England. He completed an internship at Colonial Park, Pa.-based Community General Osteopathic Hospital, a residency at Newark-based Medical Center of Delaware and a fellowship at Philadelphia-based Graduate Hospital.
Dr. Leite completed an additional fellowship in clinic esophagology at Graduate Hospital.
He has published several peer-reviewed papers and is a fellow of the American College of Physicians and American College of Gastroenterology.
Outside of his practice, Dr. Leite is married with four children.
