GI leader to know: Dr. Kenneth Mirkin of Gastroenterology Associates of Northern Virginia

Kenneth R. Mirkin, MD, is the gastroenterology chief at Falls Church, Va.-based Inova Fairfax Hospital.

Dr. Mirkin also leads Fairfax, Va.-based Gastroenterology Associates of Northern Virginia’s research division.

He previously served on the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation of America Medical Advisory Board.

Dr. Mirkin is a Clinical Assistant Professor at Washington, D.C.-based George Washington University Hospital.

He is an American College of Gastroenterology, American Gastroenterological Association and American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy member.
