She began her career after earning her medical degree from the University of Cincinnati. She completed a residency at the University of Pittsburgh and a fellowship at Maywood, Ill.-based Loyola University Medical Center.
Dr. Dorfmeister is certified in internal medicine and gastroenterology by the American Board of Internal Medicine
She is an American Gastroenterological Association and American College of Gastroenterology member.
