Dr. Schnell specializes in gastrointestinal endoscopy including BARRX, hepatology and biliary disease.
He began his career after earning his medical degree from the Columbia-based University of South Carolina. He completed a residency at Wake Forest University and North Carolina Baptist Hospital, both based in Winston-Salem, N.C. Dr. Schnell completed his fellowship at Nashville, Tenn.-based Vanderbilt University.
Dr. Schnell is board certified in internal medicine.
Outside of his practice, he is an avid golfer who enjoys boating and surfing.
