GI leader to know: Dr. Ivor Hill of Nationwide Children’s Hospital

Ivor Hill, MD, is section chief of gastroenterology at Columbus, Ohio-based Nationwide Children’s Hospital.

Dr. Hill is also the director of the Nationwide Children’s Hospital celiac disease center. He was previously the chair of the North American Society for Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition committee, and was involved with developing the first evidence-based guidelines for the diagnosis and treatment of pediatric celiac disease.

Dr. Hill sits on the editorial boards of the Journal of Pediatrics and the Journal for Pediatric Gastroenterology.

In addition to his roles at Nationwide Children’s Hospital, Dr. Hill is a professor of clinical pediatrics at Columbus-based Ohio State University College of Medicine.
